HiFiMan HE-5 - Overview
HiFiMan HE-5 are one of the three newly developed orthodynamic headphones to be released in 2009, Audeze's LCD-1 and LCD-2 are the other two. The designs of this new generation of orthodynamics seem to be based, in part, on Fostex T50 design, altogether modified and improved especially comfort vise.
General Description of the Sound
According to many accounts HiFiMan HE-5 sounds very good and resolving but has specific coloration and exaggerated high frequentness that can sound bright and unpleasant.
