SR-007MkII - Overview

Released in 2008 STAX SR-007 Omega II MkII Electrostatic Headphones are basically an improved version of SR-007. They feature sheep skin earpads, a real leather headband and improved wiring for a more solid connection.

General Description of the Sound

Overall sound signature is very similar to SR-007, but upper midrange is a bit more prominent similar in a way to SR-404. This is due to port in the earpads designed as pressure release to reduce the "cripple" effect caused by airtight seal.
