Ultrasone: Brief History and General Information
Ultrasone is a new German company that is positioning themselves as an headphone only company that makes Pro and Audiophile products. In just a few years the company was able obtains a devoted group of "fans" that really enjoy the Ultrasone trademark sound.

Founded in 1991, ULTRASONE began to build up the brand image as a high-class and innovative company for sophisticated customers. Due to continual research ULTRASONE invented numerous developments and has applied for several patents. In 1997 ULTRASONE developed the first ULE shielded pair of headphones. In 2000 ULTRASONE was reorganized, created a new corporate design, designed new headphones and The Natural Surround System S-Logic™ was presented as the successor of the former FPS-System.
ULTRASONE is located in Tutzing, close to the Alps in South Germany. The headquarter team efficiently coordinates the sales and marketing activities for more than 50 countries. The technical and financial department is located in Tutzing as well. The production is separated at several locations in Germany, USA, Austria and Taiwan.
