The EAH-810 seems to contain a what visually resembles a ATH/SFI style orthodynamic driver. Whereas its big brothers the EAH-820/830 seem to employ larger rectangular Serpentine based orthodynamic drivers.

There are possibly two colour variants of this headphone.

General Description of the Sound

According to John Free, Nov. 1979 in Popular Science (comparing to many top headphones of the day, including the EAH-830):

" The 810 had attenuated high frequency response."
